Melaye: APC Stop crying woes for loss of Deputy Senate Presidency

APC PAID WITH THEIR OWN SIDE OF THE COIN

Abuja - Senator Dino Melaye (APC-Kogi West) on Wednesday said the party lost Deputy Senate Presidency to PDP because many of its senators were absent from Tuesday's inauguration.
Melaye, who briefed newsmen in Abuja, said all the APC senators present at the inauguration voted for the APC contestant, Senator Ali Ndume, but lost because many APC senators were absent.
"Those that made APC to lose the Deputy Senate Presidency yesterday were those who stayed away from the chamber.
"If they had come, we would have won, we stood by our party, we nominated Senator Ali Ndume, and the man who seconded the motion is a Senator from Kwara."

Wike warned, he must realize the ill wind “he is about to sow and of which “He” would be unable to manage the consequence

Lagos - The All Progressives Congress (APC) Rivers State Chapter has called on President Muhammadu Buhari to intervene amid reports the People’s Democratic Party-led House of Assembly planned to dismantle the elected Local Governments.
Publicity Secretary, Chris Finebone, said APC  had credible information the Rivers State House of Assembly has perfected plans to kick-start the process by moving and adopting a motion on the floor of the House empowering Governor Nyesom Wike to dissolve the recently duly elected councils.
“The APC would like to call on the President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria and the Commander-in-Chief of the Nigerian Armed Forces, the Heads of the various security agencies and the general public to hold the Nyesom Wike-led Rivers State Government responsible for any threat to law and order in Rivers State that may result from the reckless and illegal decision to do away with the duly-elected 23 Local Government Councils in the State in order to replace same with his hand-picked cronies as Care-taker Committees.”
